Each year I come to Australia for the Australian Open in Melbourne and get the chance to catch up with my long time friend who now is the director of Vida Tennis. Over the years I have meet many of the Vida Team, as well as junior players. It is great to see the team so passionate about tennis and supporting the kids to achieve their goals. In the 2013 Australian Open they brought the students to watch some matches during the Australian Open and filled half the stand during my match, it was great to play in front of them. I will miss coming to Melbourne each year once I retire but I hope there is a few more opportunities yet.

Shanghai Racquet Club WTA Tour Coach & Players

To Kane Dewhurst on behalf of the two professional WTA players Zhou Yi Miao and Han Xin Yun: Kane thanks for your help during the Australian Open. We improved our doubles tactics, you gave us a good understanding of our court positioning and also how to plan and execute effective tactics against some quality opponents. Winning our first round and almost getting through the second was amazing and proved that your coaching skills are effective. Thanks again and we wish you and your academy players all the best for 2013. Happy Chinese New Year!

Head Coach
Bendigo Tennis Academy

I have had a connection with Kane Dewhurst as he attended the Bendigo Junior Tennis Squad as a junior member. It was with great interest when Kane had completed his time on the circuit and decided to become a professional tennis coach I did not hesitate in approaching Kane to visit Bendigo to conduct tennis clinics. That was back in 2003. We have tennis clinics in Bendigo every year, our next being on August 18th in Bendigo. I have also taken a team of 14 players for a one week training camp at Vida which was a brilliant week of tennis.

The reason I invited Kane to Bendigo was to draw on his expertise from the circuit and to update the knowledge and work ethic of players involved in my tennis coaching program at the Bendigo Tennis Academy. This approach, in my opinion has been a remarkable success.

Kane and Vince Dattoli are leaders in the coaching of tennis, they are keen to share their coaching philosophies and my link with Vida has seen many players link up with Kane and Vince as regular clients.

The most notable has been Eliza Long a student from our the Bendigo Tennis Academy, I encouraged her to link up with Kane and the Vida Team this has seen Eliza become an 16’s National Champion, and play in two Australian Open Junior events at Melbourne Park.

From a coaching perspective Kane, Vince and the Vida team are always there to assist in the development of players, they are always supportive of my coaching program and encourage players I coach to continue in my program, as they progress through the Vida Program. I always appreciate that as a coach.

John & Angela Aloisi

The Vida Tennis team has been coaching our three daughters since we moved to Melbourne midway through 2010. In that time we have found the coaches have been not only been able to develop their tennis skills but also develop positive relationships with the kids and create a great environment for tennis. From a tennis view point the girls have been able to develop their tracking skills, technique and movement which have led to Alisia moving into junior competition. The environment is very welcoming not only for the kids but for us as parents. All the coaches are very approachable and communicate very well. As parents, we highly recommend Vida Tennis and their programs for your children.
