Jaimee Fourlis will head into tomorrow 1st round at the 2018 Australian Open full of confidence after a strong start to 2018. This will be her second Australian Open and third Grand Slam appearance, just months after her 18th birthday.
2017 was a big year for Jaimee, playing in the Australian Open and French Open’s for the first time, finishing her Year 12 studies, turning 18 and developing her game ready for a full year on tour in 2018. Last year we also saw Jaimee on the court with the Vida team helping out with our Hot Shots girls program and representing the MCC Glen Iris Valley Tennis Club in premier league pennant.
Her match tomorrow, against fellow Australian and world number 162, Olivia Rogowska will see her start favorite, but Olivia will be just as keen to get a win at her home Grand Slam. The match will be on Show Court 3, the second match after 11am.
All at Vida will be watching and supporting you Jaimee……. Goodluck!
