Serena Williams taking a serving lessons with Vida Tennis kids


Serena Williams, arguably the greatest female player ever, gave 6 lucky Vida Tennis players for a serving master class session on Monday the 11th of Jan. On a specially set up half court in the Woolworth’s Ashwood car park, Serena gave her feedback on what makes a great serve and some tips for each of the players while they had their serve measured by a radar gun.

Serena was very complementary to the six players about their serving. It was a great experience for; Jaimee Fourlis, Cooper Wyett, Robert Zieba, Emerson Valentino, Cassandra Pappas, Daniela Ljiljak.

The event, organised by Gatorade, also featured AFL super star captains Luke Hodge and Joel Selwood, who also had a go at serving. Joel coming out the winner hitting a 171km/hr first serve. It was then over to the cricketers, Peter Siddle and Meg Lanning, to show their style.
